I pulled out all of my Stampin’ Up! flower punches and matching stamps to create my card share today!  I made this card for the Stamping & Blogging SB39 Sketch Challenge this week.  Be sure to check out what the other Design Team Members made with this sketch too, links to their blogs are below.

I started by cutting the bottom edge of a panel of Sweet Sorbet DSP (Sale-a-bration item – available Jan 28) with the Large Scallop Edgelits die.  I layered the panel over a panel of Basic Black card stock, then added a strip of Basic Black DSP from the Neutrals DSP Stacks over the top.

I ran a small bead of Multipurpose Liquid Glue across the layered panels just above the Basic Black DSP line and I adhered a strand of the Pool Party Twine (from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack – Sale-a-bration Item – available Jan 28).  I let that dry for just a minute, then wrapped the ends of the twine around the back of the panel and adhered them with tape.  Then I adhered the layered panel to a Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the flower images from the Mixed Bunch stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Pool Party ink on a Whisper White panel and punched them out with the Blossom Punch.  Then I stamped flowers from the Flower Shop stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in StazOn Jet Black Ink and punched them out with the Pansy Punch.  I stamped the flowers from the Petite Petals stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Pool Party ink and punched them out with the Petite Petals Punch.  I curled the edges of each flower petal with a Bone Folder and adhered them together with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin Dimensionals and I added a Basic Black Candy Dot from the Neutrals Candy Dots pack to the center of each flower.

Don’t forget that you can purchase the Flower Shop stamp set and Pansy Punch as a bundle (wood mount and clear mount) as well as the Petite Petals stamp set and Petite Petals Punch (wood mount and clear mount) and save 15%.

Then I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Celebrate stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I colored the lines in the letters with my Pool Party Stampin’ Write Marker, then cut the sentiment out with the Banners Framelits die.  I trimmed just a touch off the top, bottom and left side of the banner and adhered it to a Basic Black Banner that I’d cut with the same die.  I adhered the layered banner to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel under the sentiment to complete it.
