Stampin’ Up! Oh So Succulent for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Oh So Succulent stamp set bundle to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a color challenge and this is what I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

The design for my card was inspired by Mojo Monday 483.

I started by adhering a panel from the Succulent Garden DSP to a panel of Tip Top Taupe card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered a panel of Mint Macaron Glimmer Paper from the 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack (Sale-a-bration exclusive item, available Feb 21) to the DSP with SNAIL.  I adhered a smaller panel of Succulent Garden DSP to a smaller panel of Tip Top Taupe card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the Oh So Succulent photopolymer stamp set in Tip Top Taupe ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and I adhered it to a panel of Tip Top Taupe card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Mint Macaron 3/8″ Sheer Linen Ribbon around the panel and adhered it with SNAIL.  I tied a small bow from the Mint Macaron ribbon and adhered it with a Glue Dot to the card front.

I stamped the images from the Oh So Succulent stamp set in Mint Macaron, Old Olive and Tip Top Taupe inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock and cut them out with the matching Succulent Framelits Dies.  I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Glue Dots for the smaller pieces and a Stampin’ Dimensional for the larger flower.

I tucked a few Pearl Basic Jewels around the die cut flowers and added an Old Olive enamel dot from the Brights Enamel Shapes pack next to the sentiment to finish the panel.  I adhered the layered panel to a Mint Macaron card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the flower images from the Oh So Succulent stamp set in Mint Macaron ink on a Whisper White card stock panel and then adhered a strip of the Succulent Garden DSP over it to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Amy,

Your card is just beautiful. Loved the colors you used, also the paper.

You sure have a talented team.

    Thanks for sharing with me.

  2. You got to play with a fabulous color challenge 🙂 I love those colors together! I really like the succulent cluster with the gingham dsp, then the pull through with the ribbon and glimmer paper…beautiful! 😉

  3. I really love this colour combo with that stamp set and all those pretty little layered pieces really create the perfect cluster of succulents.
