Two Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags Cards

I pulled out my Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags for a couple of cards today.  The first card is for the Mojo Monday 269 Sketch Challenge.

Here is the list of products that you will need to make this card:

  • Make a Mitten (127940 wood, 127943 clear)
  • More Merry Messages (126400 wood, 126402 clear)
  • Mitten Builder Punch (127824)
  • Argyle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (127750)
  • Snow Festival Designer Series Paper (126908)
  • Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags (128152)
  • Gumball Green Core’dinations Card Stock (127847)
  • Stampin’ Sanding System (129367)
  • Whisper White Card Stock (100730)
  • Cherry Cobbler Card Stock (119685)
  • Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin’ Pad (126966)
  • Gumball Green Classic Stampin’ Pad (126861)
  • Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine (123125)
  • Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)

I started by cutting a 11″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock for the card base.  I scored it at 5-1/2″ and folded it in half.  Then I cut a 5-1/4″ x 2-5/8″ panel of the Snow Festival DSP and another panel the same size in Whisper White.  I adhered them both to the card front.  Then I cut a 2-1/4″ x 4-3/4″ piece of the Gumball Green Core’dinations Card Stock and embossed it with the Argyle Embossing Folder.  I sanded the raised areas that are actually considered the back of the design.  Then I cut a Cherry Cobbler panel to 2-3/8″ x 4-7/8″ and adhered it to the Gumball Green Core’dinations Card Stock.  Next I cut anther panel of the Snow Festival DSP to 2-1/4″ x 4″ and I adhered it to a Cherry Cobbler Card Stock panel that I cut to 2-3/8″ x 4-1/8″.  I cut the banner from the Snow Festival DSP also, that is 1″ x 3-3/4″ with the flag end snipped with a scissors.  I layered and adhered all of those pieces to the card front.  Then I stamped the mittens in Gumball Green ink on Whisper White Card Stock and punched them out with the Mitten Builder Punch.  As you can probably see, I used the same mitten twice.  That just makes it quicker for me to punch out.  Then I stamped the mitten caps in Cherry Cobbler ink on Whisper White Card Stock and I punched them with the Mitten Builder Punch.  I adhere the mitten pieces together then adhered the Baker’s Twine to the back of both mittens.  I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink on the Snow Festival Designer Printed Tag and adhered the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I finished by making sure that there was a loop in the Baker’s Twine, then adhered the mittens to the tag using Stampin Dimensionals.  Once I figured out the cutting sizes, this card came together very quickly.

And this is my second card using the Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags.  This one is a quick, clean and simple card.

Here is the list of products that you will need to make this card:

  • Make a Mitten (127940 wood, 127943 clear)
  • More Merry Messages (126400 wood, 126402 clear)
  • Apothecary Accents Framelits (127003)
  • Decorative Label Punch (120907)
  • Snow Festival Designer Series Paper (126908)
  • Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags (128152)
  • Silver Flourish Designer Frames (127835)
  • Silver 1/8″ Mini Brads (122941)
  • Real Red Card Stock (102482)
  • Whisper White Card Stock (100730)
  • Basic Gray Classic Stampin’ Pad (126981)
  • Gumball Green (126856) & Real Red (100052) Stampin’ Write Markers
  • 1/2″ Striped Satin Ribbon (127837)

I started by cutting a panel of Snow Festival DSP to 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Then I layered the back side of one of the Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags on top of it.  Next I cut piece of Real Red Card Stock with the Apothecary Accents Framelits Die and adhered that to the tag.  Then I cut a piece of the Striped Satin Ribbon to 5-3/4″ and placed it across all of the layers.  As you can see, I turned it so that the stripe side is adhered to the card stock.  Then I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink on Whisper White Card Stock.  I colored the holly image with my Gumball Green and Real Red Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped that image next to the sentiment.  I punched the sentiment out with the Decorative Label Punch and adhered it to the center of the card front.  Next, I placed the Flourishes Frame over the sentiment and attached it to the card front with the Mini Brads.  The final step was to attach the card front to the Real Red card base and it was finished.
