Today I’m sharing two quick and easy holiday thank you cards that I made using the Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags that Stampin’ Up has in their Holiday Catalog.  They’re only available for a few more days, so be sure to get them before they’re gone!

I made the card on the left with the Make a Mitten and Sassy Salutations stamp sets and a little bit of the Snow Festival Designer Paper.

I started with a card base of Cherry Cobbler cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″.  Then I cut 3 strips of Snow Festival DSP to 1″ x 5″.  Next, I stamped the sentiment from Sassy Salutations in VersaMark ink on the Snow Festival Tag, sprinkled it with Gumball Green Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  Then I colored the little holly image with my Stampin’ Write Markers and I stamped it twice on the tag.  I stamped the mitten image on the tag using Gumball Green ink and I stamped the little deer in Cherry Cobbler ink over the top.  Then I placed the Snow Festival DSP strips behind the tag in rows and I adhered them to the tag using SNAIL.  I folded the excess tag around the two outside strips and adhered it to the back with SNAIL Adhesive.  Then I adhered the strips and tag directly to the card front using SNAIL.  Next, I stamped the matching mitten image on Whisper White Card Stock and I punched it out with the Mitten Builder Punch.  To finish the card, I adhered the mitten to the tag using Stampin Dimensionals.

For the card on the right, I used my Paper-Piercing Tool and the Blooming with Kindness thank you sentiment.

I started with a card base of Cherry Cobbler cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″.  Then I cut a panel of Gumball Green Core’dinations Card Stock to 3-3/4″ x 5″, embossed it with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder and sanded the raised areas.  Then I wrapped a Snow Festival tag around the embossed panel and adhered it with SNAIL.  Next, I used the template from the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack to pierce around the tag.  I used the template that coordinates with the Window Frames Framelits to pierce around the rounded part and I used the straight line template from the Essentials Paper-Piercing pack to pierce around the rest of the tag.  Next, I placed the smallest Window Frame Framelits piercing template over the center of the tag and pierced that design on the tag.  Then I adhered the embossed panel directly to the card base using SNAIL.  To finish the card, I cut the second smallest circle from the Circles #2 Originals Die from Whisper White Card Stock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Blooming with Kindess stamp set  in VersaMark ink on the die cut circle, sprinkled it with Gumball Green Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  Then I colored the holly image from the Make a Mitten stamp set with my Stampin’ Write Markers and I stamped it below the sentiment.  I punched a circle from Cherry Cobbler Card Stock using the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch and I adhered it behind the sentiment.  Then I adhered the circles to the center of the pierced template using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Both were really quick to put together, hope that they give you a good start on your holiday thank you’s!
