My card share today features the new hostess stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called Simply Sketched.  This is such a beautiful set with so many great uses.  The colors for my card were inspired by Dynamic Duos #59.  For the second color, I added just a touch of Real Red to my card.

I started by stamping the branch image from the Simply Sketched stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on a Smoky Slate card stock panel.  I adhered the panel to a Basic Gray card base with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the center image in Basic Gray ink on a Smoky Slate card stock panel, colored the berries with the fine tip end of my Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker (to give it a more sketched appearance) and adhered to a Basic Gray panel, then to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink on a Smoky Slate panel, punched it out with the Large Oval Punch and adhered it to a Basic Gray Scallop Oval Punch with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  To finish the card front, I colored the white thread in the center of the Basic Gray 1/4″ Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon with my Smoky Slate Stampin’ Write Marker, tied a bow and adhered it to the card front with Glue Dots.

I finished the inside of the card by stamping the branch images in Smoky Slate ink on a Smoky Slate panel and I adhered it with SNAIL.
