Wildflower Meadow Thoughts of You

For my card share today, I used the Wildflower Meadow  stamp and coordinating Wildflower Meadow Embossing Folder from Stampin’ Up!  Don’t forget that you can purchase these two items as a bundle and save 15% (wood-mount bundle 132735, clear-mount bundle 132985).  My card design was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches #93.

Wildflower Meadow

I started by adhering a panel of Gingham Garden DSP to a panel of Night of Navy card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered a strip of the Delicate Details Lace Tape and two strips of the Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape across the layered panels and wrapped them around the back.  Then I adhered the layered panel to the Island Indigo card base with SNAIL.

Wildflower Meadow 1

I colored the Wildflower Meadow image with my Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped it on a square of Whisper White card stock and embossed it with the Wildflower Meadow Embossing Folder.  I adhered the stamped image to a square of Night of Navy card stock and a square of Island Indigo card stock, then to a Tea Lace Paper Doily and finally to the card front with SNAIL.  I stamped the sentiment from the A Dozen Thought stamp set in Island Indigo ink on a strip of Whisper White card stock, adhered it to a strip of Island Indigo card stock, snipped the banner end with my Paper Snips, then adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.  To finish the card, I tied a piece of Island Indigo Baker’s Twine through an Island Indigo Button (from the Regals Designer Buttons) and adhered it with Glue Dots to the card front.

Wildflower Meadow 2

I wrapped three strips of the Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape around a Whisper White panel to decorate the inside of the card.

  1. Amy, I love opening up my mail everyday to see your great creations. I hope I get to see you at convention.

    • Thanks so much. Sure wish that I was going to convention this year…the big move across the country took priority over my stamping stuff. 🙂 Hope to be there next year!

  2. This is just beautiful Amy! The combination of the stamp set and embossing folder is lovely and the doily is a lovely addition! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
