Walk in the Wild Masculine Thank You and a DSP Sneak Peek

I used the Walk in the Wild stamp set and some of the new Sweater Weather DSP from Stampin’ Up! to create a masculine thank you card.  My card design was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches #95.

Walk in the Wild

I started by adhering a panel of the Sweater Weather DSP to a panel of Crushed Curry card stock with SNAIL then to a Chocolate Chip card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I embossed a panel of Chocolate Chip Core’dinations card stock with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder, sanded the raised areas, adhered it to a Crushed Curry panel then to the card front with SNAIL.  Next, I adhered a panel of the Sweater Weather DSP to a panel of Soft Sky card stock then to the card front with SNAIL.

Walk in the Wild 1

I stamped the image from the Walk in the Wild stamp set in Chocolate Chip ink on a Whisper White panel, sponged the edges with Soft Sky and Chocolate Chip ink, adhered it to a panel of Chocolate Chip card stock then adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Petite Pairs stamp set in Chocolate Chip ink on a Whisper White panel, punched it out with the 1″ Circle Punch and adhered it to a 1-1/4″ Circle Punch from Chocolate Chip Core’dinations that I’d sanded with my Sanding Block.  To finish the card front, I adhered a strip of the new 1-1/4″ Burlap Ribbon (trimmed down to about 1″) to the card front with SNAIL, then adhered the layered sentiment over it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Walk in the Wild 2

I finished the inside of the card by adhering a strip of the Sweater Weather DSP to a Whisper White panel.
