I used the Papillon Potpourri, Express Youself and the Happy Flowers stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create my card today.  The Papillon Potpourri stamp set and Bitty Butterfly Punch are on sale in a bundle for 15% off this month (clear bundle item #135311, wood bundle 135312) so make sure that you pick yours up by the end of September to get this great deal!

My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments #167.

I started by embossing a Smoky Slate Textured Card Stock panel with the Pretty Print Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Tempting Turqouise, then to the Pacific Point card base with SNAIL.  I used the Floral Frames Collection Framelits Dies and I cut two shapes from Whisper White DSP (from the Neutrals DSP Stacks) and adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the Happy Flowers image in Smoky Slate ink on a Smoky Slate panel, cut it out with the Floral Frames Collection Framelits Die and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.  I also punched a 1″ circle from Whisper White DSP and adhered that over the stamped die cut.

I cut three strips from the Brights and 2013-15 In Color DSP Stacks and punched the ends with the Hexagon Punch to create the banners.  I adhered the Coastal Cabana and Pacific Point DSP strips to the card front with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Express Yourself stamp set in VersaMark ink on the Tempting Turquoise strip, sprinkled it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder, heat embossed it and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.  I stamped the butterfly images from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set in Coastal Cabana, Pacific Point and Tempting Turquoise inks on matching card stock, punched them out with the Bitty Butterfly Punch, adhered them to the card front with SNAIL, then adhered three small rhinestones down the center of each butterfly.

I finished the card front by punching a 1″ circle from Pacific Point card stock and a 7/8″ scallop circle from Tempting Turqoise card stock and adhering them together, then to the card front with SNAIL.  And I adhered one of the In Boutique Details with a Glue Dot.

I finished the inside of the card by stamping the butterfly image again in Tempting Turquoise, Pacific Point and Coastal Cabana ink on a Whisper White panel.
