I’m sharing a card that I made using the Stampin’ Up! Merry Little Christmas stamp set today. I used one of the Pretty Presents Designer Bows to add a little extra to my card. I’m not sure how mailable it will be without flattening the bow a bit. 🙂 I realized while I was taking pictures of my card that this bow looks a lot like the Minnie Mouse bow. Hmmm…I think I might have come up with another card idea!
I started by adhering a panel of Season of Style DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL. Then I adhered the layered panel to a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut a Real Red card stock oval using the Ovals Collection Framelits die, embossed it with the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.
Then I colored the sentiment from the Merry Little Christmas stamp set with my Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped it on a Whisper White panel. I stamped the flourishes above and below the sentiment in Old Olive ink, cut the sentiment out with an Ovals Collection Framelits die and adhered it to the embossed oval with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I put the Pretty Presents Designer Bow together using Glue Dots and I adhered it with a Glue Dot to the front of the card.
I stamped the sentiment from the Wishing You stamp set inside the card on a Whisper White panel in Real Red ink and I added a strip of the Season of Style DSP to finish it.
