Chalk Talk in Pretty Colors & New Weekly Deals from Stampin’ Up!

It’s Tuesday so it’s time for another Try Stampin’ on Tuesday Challenge.  I used the Chalk Talk stamp set and matching Framelits from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Try Stampin’ on Tuesday #144 and the colors were inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments #172.

Chalk Talk - Stamp With Amy K

I started by stamping the Hello Doily (wood mount and clear mount) image in Crumb Cake ink on a Crumb Cake panel, then I embossed the panel with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Crisp Cantaloupe then to a Blushing Bride card base.

Chalk Talk 2 - Stamp With Amy K

The Crisp Cantaloupe flag was cut from the Birthday Basics DSP pack and the Blushing Bride and Soft Sky flags were cut from the Subtles DSP Stacks.  I used the Hexagon punch to create the flag ends on each strip.

Chalk Talk 1 - Stamp With Amy K

The tag from the Chalk Talk stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) was stamped in Soft Sky ink,  cut out with the matching Chalk Talk Framelits and popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the tag image again in Crisp Cantaloupe ink and cut out with Paper Snips then adhered to the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a bow from Blushing Bride 3/4″ Chevron Ribbon and adhered it over the top of the tag with Glue Dots.  I finished the card front by adding five Pearl Basic Jewels.

Don’t forget that you can purchase the Chalk Talk stamp set and matching Framelits in a bundle from Stampin’ Up! and save 15% (wood mount and clear mount).

Chalk Talk 3 - Stamp With Amy K

The inside of the card has three strips of the DSP that have been punched with the Hexagon Punch then adhered to a Whisper White panel.

The complete supply list, including card stock cuts, is at the very bottom of this post.  Be sure to head over the the Try Stampin’ on Tuesday Blog to see what the other designers came up with and play along too!

  1. Beautiful! You made the color challenge look so effortless. I love the tag, and I like your tip on using the hex punch for flag ends…so much nicer looking than the square punch. Thanks for playing at HSS ~ Erika
