I used the Ornament Keepsakes and More Merry Messages stamp sets from Stampin’ Up!  to create my card to share with you today.  These two stamp sets are on the carryover holiday stamp set list, but you can’t find them in either of the catalogs.  To see the entire list of holiday stamp sets that are still available but not in a catalog, click here.

My card design was inspired by CAS-ual Fridays 120 and the colors were inspired by the Dynamic Duos 79.

I started by embossing a Basic Black panel with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the More Merry Messages stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

Next, I stamped the image from the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in VersaMark Ink on a Basic Black panel and I heat embossed it with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I cut the image out with the matching Holiday Ornaments Framelits die and I placed it on the embossed panel.

I used the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack and my Paper-Piercing Tool to pierce around the ornament die cut.  After I pierced the panel I adhered the ornament with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a Large Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center.  I adhered a Basic Black 1/8″ Taffeta Ribbon bow with a Glue Dot, then adhered the decorated panel to a Smoky Slate panel, then to a Basic Black card base.

I finished the inside of the card by stamping an ornament image from the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and the sentiment from the More Merry Messages stamp set in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a Smoky Slate panel.
