Simply Sketched Notecard Gift Pack – Stampin’ Up!

I made a little gift pack of 10 note cards using the Simply Sketched stamp set and the Envelope Punch Board from Stampin’ Up!  I’ve put together a quick tutorial for creating the gift box and I put it on my Tutorial page.  You can go directly to the tutorial by clicking here.

The base cards were made with the Note Cards & Envelopes pack that you can find on page 162 in the Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog.  These notecards are really nice, they’re made from a thicker version of the Whisper White card stock so they work beautifully as card bases and they’re very inexpensive at $5.95 for a pack of 20 pre-scored cards and 20 envelopes.

I wanted the note cards to be fairly flat so that the recipient could send them with just one stamp so I kept the layers and embellishments to a minimum.  I stamped a Whisper White panel with the En Francais image (wood mount and clear mount) in Soft Suede ink and I adhered it to the note card.  Simply Sketched Note Cards - Stamp With Amy K

Then I stamped the images from the Simply Sketched stamp set (hostess only wood mount and clear mount) in StazOn Jet Black Ink and I colored the images with my Stampin’ Write Markers.  I cut them out with an Ovals Collection Framelits Die, sponged the edges with Soft Suede and adhered them to the card fronts.  I also stamped the outside of the envelopes with the Simply Sent image again in Soft Suede ink.

I stamped the outside of the gift box (you can see the tutorial for the box here) that I created with the Envelope Punch Board with the flower image and I colored it with my Stampin’ Write Markers as well.

I colored the A Gift For You single stamp with my Stampin’ Write Markers and I stamped it on a Whisper White panel.  I punched it out with the matching Label Bracket Punch and adhered it with Sticky Strip to the flap of the gift box.

I added a self-adhesive set of Velcro Dots that I picked up at a local craft store under the flap to hold the gift box closed.

The complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, to create the project is at the very bottom of this post.
