I’ve got another sneak peek at new products from the 2014 Occasions Catalog from Stampin’ Up! to share with you today!  This time I pulled out the new Petite Petals stamp set and matching punch.  My card design was inspired by CAS(E) This Sketch #56 and the colors were inspired by the Dynamic Duos #82.

I started by stamping the flower image from the Petite Petals stamp set (available Jan 3) in Primrose Petals ink on a panel of Primrose Petals Core’dinations Card Stock from the 2012-14 In Color Core’dinations Card Stock pack.  Then I sanded the panel with my Stampin’ Sanding Block and adhered it to a panel of Whisper White card stock.

I stamped the sentiment from the Lots of Thanks stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  Then I adhered the stamped panel to a Gumball Green card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a triangle from Gumball Green card stock and added it to the card front.  I layered a triangle of the new Watercolor Wonder DSP (available Jan 3) over the Gumball Green panel, then stamped three Petite Petals flowers in Primrose Petals ink on Whisper White card stock and I punched them out with the matching Petite Petals Punch (available Jan 3).

I adhered the flowers to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a Pearl Basic Jewel to the center of each.  I added a few random pearls to complete the card front.

I finished the inside of the card by stamping the Petite Petals images again in Primrose Petals ink on a Whisper White panel.
