I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday, I spent mine relaxing with the family and eating way too much!!  Today I’ve got a card that I made with one of the new valentine stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! called Follow My Heart.  The valentine stamps and items are only available through Jan 27 and while supplies last so be sure to pick yours up soon!  To see all of the valentine items available from Stampin’ Up, click here.

My card design was inspired by the Sketch Frenzy Friday SFF122013 and the colors were inspired by the Dynamic Duos #84.

I started by stamping the Eiffel Tower image from the Follow My Heart stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a Very Vanilla panel.

I colored the little heart in with my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker, adhered the panel to a Basic Black panel then to a Cherry Cobbler card base.

I cut a strip of Basic Black card stock with the Small Scallop Stampin’ Trimmer Rotary Cutting Blade, adhered it to the card front and layered a strip of Modern Medley DSP over it.  I colored the sentiment from the Follow My Heart stamp set with my Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped it on a Very Vanilla panel and cut it out with a Banner Framelits Die (available Jan 3).

I cut another banner from Basic Black card stock using the same Banner Framelit Die, then I trimmed just a tiny bit off the top, bottom and left side of the Very Vanilla stamped sentiment banner and adhered the two together, then to the card front with SNAIL.  I finished the card front by coloring three Rhinestone Basic Jewels with a Red Sharpie Marker and adhering them under the sentiment banner.

I stamped the Eiffel Tower image again in StazOn Jet Black on a Very Vanilla panel inside the card, then colored the heart with my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker.
