I used the Follow My Heart stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create a clean and simple card to share with you today.  This stamp set is one of the valentine promotional items that are only available for one more week from Stampin’ Up!  To see all of the valentine promotional items that are available through Jan 27, click here.

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #60.

I started by adhering a panel of High Tide DSP to a panel of Smokey Slate card stock then to a Basic Gray card base with SNAIL.

Then I cut a panel of Basic Gray DSP from the Neutrals DSP Stacks and I layered it over a panel of Basic Gray card stock that I’d trimmed with the Tiny Wave Stampin’ Trimmer Rotary Cutting Blade.  The Rotary Cutting Blade works with the Stampin’ Trimmer Rotary Addition, which is an attachment that can easily be added to your Stampin’ Trimmer.

I stamped the two hearts from the Hearts a Flutter stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Blushing Bride ink on a Whisper White panel.  Then I stamped the Eiffel Tower image from the Follow My Heart stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Smoky Slate ink over the hearts.  I colored the “Love” part of the sentiment from the Follow My Heart stamp set with my Basic Gray Stampin’ Write Marker and I stamped it below the sentiment, using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to help with placement.

I layered the stamped image over a panel of Smoky Slate card stock, then adhered the image to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I used the Small Heart Punch to punch out a heart from Blushing Bride card stock and I adhered it with a Stampin’ Dimensional over the Eiffel Tower image.  I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the heart to complete the card front.

I kept the inside clean and simple too, I just stamped the heart images in Blushing Bride and Basic Gray inks on a Whisper White panel.
