I used the Sale-a-bration Banner Blast stamp set along with the Make a Cake, Remembering Your Birthday and Yippee-Skippee stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share with you today.  My card design was inspired by Seize the Sketch #12 and CAS-UAL Fridays CFC127.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Remembering Your Birthday stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a panel of Watercolor Wonder DSP.  I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to help with placement.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Pool Party card stock with SNAIL and the layered panel to a Strawberry Slush card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Next, I stamped the images from Banner Blast stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Strawberry Slush, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight inks on a Whisper White panel.

I punched the banners out with the Banner Punch (Sale-a-bration item) and adhered them with SNAIL to the card front.  I tied two little bows from Pool Party Twine (from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack – Sale-a-bration item) and adhered them to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I stamped the images from the Make a Cake stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Strawberry Slush inks (using my Stamp-a-ma-jig to help with placement) and I cut the image out with an Ovals Collection Framelits Die.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Yippee-Skippie stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in StazOn Jet Black Ink over the cake.  I finished the card by adhering the stamped oval to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I finished the inside of the card by stamping and punching the Banner Blast banners again and adhering them to a Whisper White panel.

Heirloom’s Lawrenceville, GA Rubber Stamp & Paper Arts Festival – Feb 1 & 2

For those of you in and around the Altanta, GA  area:  I’ll have a table, along with my friend and fellow Demonstrator Sue Prather, at the Heirloom Productions Rubber Stamp & Paper Arts Festival this weekend (Feb 1 & 2, 2014).  The show will be held at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds, 2405 Sugarloaf Pkwy, Lawrenceville, GA  30046.  The show hours are 10 AM – 5 PM on Saturday and 11 AM – 4 PM on Sunday.  We have a card display and make & takes, lots of fun!!  Here is a picture of Sue and her daughter working on the make & takes with some of the fantastic people who stopped by to chat with us:
