Sassy Salutations With Banner Blast Birthday – Stampin’ Up!

I’m loving the Banner Blast stamp set, Banner Punch and Sweet Sorbet DSP that are three of Stampin’ Up!’s Sale-a-bration items this year.  I couldn’t resist using them for the Mojo Monday #338 sketch, the little banners fit perfectly!

I started by embossing a panel of Pool Party Core’dinations Card Stock from the Subtles Core’dinations Card Stock pack (on sale through Mar 31 for 25% off) with the Scallops Embossing Folder.  In order to get the panel embossed vertically, I placed the card stock in the embossing folder and embossed as much of the panel as I could on the first pass through the Big Shot, then I moved the embossing folder up and ran the panel back through a second time to emboss the remainder of the panel.

I cut a panel of Sweet Sorbet DSP (Sale-a-bration Item) and a panel of Basic Black card stock and adhered them together with SNAIL.  I lightly tacked the DSP layers to the embossed panel with just a touch of SNAIL and trimmed the excess off with my Stampin’ Trimmer.  Then I removed the panel and wrapped a strand of Pool Party Baker’s Twine from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Kit (Sale-a-bration Item) around it, adhering it on the back with tape.  Then I adhered the embossed panel to a Basic Black card base with SNAIL and the DSP panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Petite Petals - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in VersaMark Ink on a Whisper White panel, sprinkled it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the circles from the Circles Collection Framelits Dies, used my Stampin’ Trimmer again to trim off one side to a straight edge and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

Next, I stamped the flowers from the Petite Petals stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in Pool Party ink on a Whisper White panel and punched them out with the matching Petite Petals Punch.  I adhered them to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then punched a few branches with the Bird Builder Punch from Basic Black card stock and I adhered them under the flowers with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

You can purchase the Petite Petals stamp set and matching Petite Petals Punch in a bundle and save 15% (wood mount and clear mount).

I stamped the images from the Banner Blast stamp set (Sale-a-bration Item) in StazOn Jet Black and Pool Party inks (I colored the striped banner with my Stampin’ Write Markers), stamped them on a Whisper White panel, punched them out with the Banner Punch (Sale-a-bration Item) and adhered the little banners to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I finished the card front by coloring five Rhinestone Basic Jewels with a black Sharpie Marker and adhering them to the center of the flowers.

Sweet Sorbet DSP - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a strip of the Sweet Sorbet DSP to a strip of Basic Black card stock, then to a Whisper White card base to complete the inside of the card.
