Peaceful Petals With Hardwood For You – Stampin’ Up!

I used the Peaceful Petals and Hardwood stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today.  The sentiment that I used is another sneak peek at the Work of Art stamp set from the new catalog. 🙂

Hardwood - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by The Paper Players #193.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Work of Art stamp set (available June 2) in Baked Brown Sugar ink on a Crisp Cantaloupe DSP panel cut from the 2013-15 In Color DSP Stacks.  I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to help with placement of the sentiment.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL, then to a Baked Brown Sugar card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the image from the Hardwood stamp (wood mount and clear mount) in Baked Brown Sugar ink on a Baked Brown Sugar card stock panel.  I layered it over another panel of Baked Brown Sugar card stock, then adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

I adhered a panel of Pistachio Pudding DSP from the 2013-15 In Color DSP Stacks to a panel of Baked Brown Sugar card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL .  I also added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the upper right corner of the card front.

I stamped the flower image from the Peaceful Petals stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) in StazOn Jet Black Ink on a Whisper White panel, colored it with my Stampin’ Write Markers and cut it out with one of the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies.  I adhered the image to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to complete it.

I adhered a little leftover strip of the Baked Brown Sugar card stock that I’d stamped with the Hardwood image to a Whisper White panel inside the card.

  1. Great card, Amy! Love the Hardwood background stamp and the colors you’ve paired it with here. So glad that is a carry-over! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!

  2. Nice change up on the wooden stamp. I really like how you decorate the inside of your cards. It’s like a treat and I bet it makes people smile. 🙂 Love the colors you picked today, so bright and happy. I think the baked brown sugar is going to be the “crumb cake” of the season. It goes with everything!

  3. So pretty, Amy! I love that hardwood stamp though I have yet to ink mine up, LOL! Great colors and that flower really pops inside the oval. Thanks for sharing with us this week at The Paper Players!
