In This Together Wine Tag – Stampin’ Up!

I’ve got a fun little wine tag made with the In This Together stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to share today.  Heather Van Looy asked me if I’d be interested in doing a “finish my card” project with her.  I thought that it was a great idea!  So here we have Part 1…Heather created the art piece, handed it over to me and I finished it!  For specific details about how she created the stamped image and what it looked like before I added my touches, please visit Heather’s blog.  She has all of the details here:  www.handcraftingwithheather.com.

On Monday, we’ll have Part 2 – I’ll show you the art piece that I made for her and she’ll show you the project that she created with it so be sure to stop back to check it out!

In This Together - Stamp With Amy K

My wine tag was inspired by The Paper Players #198.  The theme is wedded bliss…I thought this would be a perfect tag for a bottle of wine or champaign for the girls night out/bachelorette party.

I started by scoring a 3-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ panel of Coast Cabana card stock at 2-1/2″.  Then I used my 1-3/4″ Circle Punch and punched a hole between the end and the 2-1/2″ score line.  I used the Project Life Corner Punch to punched the two corners near the circle punch.

I adhered a panel Lullaby DSP to a panel of Coastal Cabana card stock…I know, a little weird that I’m using baby DSP to create a tag for a bottle of wine…but it worked perfectly!  🙂  Then used my Paper Snips and cut a banner end.

In This Together 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a panel of Champaign Glimmer Paper to the tag with Fast Fuse Adhesive (you can see a how-to video about this new product here).  Then adhered Heather’s art piece to the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

In This Together 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I punched out three stars with the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and I adhered them to the art piece with just a touch of Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.  And the tag was all finished, a fun little project!  I’m looking forward to seeing what Heather creates with my art piece on Monday.

Don’t forget to stop by Heather’s blog to check out the instructions for creating the art piece!
