I used the Big News stamp set from Stampin’ Up! for the main sentiment on my card share today. I got a little carried away on the “extra” stamp sets for this one…somehow four of them ended up sneaking onto this card. 🙂

Big News - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 226. I just turned the sketch on its side.

I started by embossing a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Gold Foil Sheets, then to a Whisper White card base with SNAIL.

I adhered a panel of Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum to a panel of the Gold Foil Sheets, then to the card front with SNAIL. I ran the SNAIL down the solid stripes so it wouldn’t show through. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Big News stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a Whisper White panel, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

Big News 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I made a little loop from Gold 5/8″ Satin Ribbon and tucked it under the corner of the sentiment panel, adhering it to itself, then to the panel with SNAIL. I added some random gold sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere them, as well as some small Pearl Basic Jewels.

Big News 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower images from the Flower Shop, Petite Petals and Something to Say stamp sets in VersaMark Ink on a Whisper White panel, sprinkled them with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them. I punched them out with the Pansy Punch, Petite Petals Punch and flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, then colored pieces of the two larger flowers with the Gold Stampin’ Dazzle Marker. I adhered the flowers together and to the card front with Glue Dots, then colored a pearl with the Gold Stampin’ Dazzle Marker and added it to the center of the smallest flower.

Petite Pairs - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Petite Pairs stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a Whisper White panel, embossed it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, adhered it to a panel of Gold Foil Sheets, then to the inside of the card. I punched two little hearts from the Gold Foil Sheets with the heart punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and I adhered them with SNAIL to complete the inside of the card.
