I made a quick little shaker card with the Sweet Stuff stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to share with you today.
My card design was inspired by Retrosketches #124.
I started by embossing a panel of Coastal Cabana card stock with the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder. I adhered the panel to a Crisp Cantaloupe card base with SNAIL.
I adhered a panel of Lullaby DSP to a panel of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL. Then I cut a banner with the second largest Banners Framelits Die from Coastal Cabana card stock and I stamped the sentiment from the And Many More stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink across the bottom of it.
Then I stamped the image from the Sweet Stuff stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel and I colored it with my Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers. I used the Ivory and Blush colors for her skin and the Bronze marker (all from the Skin Tone Assortment pack) for her hair and the light and dark Coastal Cabana markers for her dress and shoes.
Creating the shaker part of the card is really simple with the Shaker Frames. I simply punched the image of the girl out with my 2″ Circle Punch, adhered it to the Coastal Cabana banner with SNAIL, then adhered one of the Shaker Frames to the image and added a few sequins from the 2013-15 In Color Sequin Assortment.
I punched a 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch from Crisp Cantaloupe card stock, added a dot to each scallop with my White Stampin’ Chalk Marker, punched the center out with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch, adhered a 2″ Circle Punch from Window Sheets to the back of the circle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then I adhered it to the Shaker Frame. I finished the card front by tying a bow from Whisper White 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon and adhering it with a Glue Dot.
I stamped the sentiments from the Remembering Your Birthday stamp set in Crisp Cantaloupe ink on a Whisper White panel, then stamped the little girl image from the Sweet Stuff stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored it with my Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers to finish the inside of the card.
