Fall Wondrous Wreath – Stampin’ Up!

I’ve been seeing so many cool wreath cards made with the Wondrous Wreath stamp set from the 2014 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog on Pinterest.  This  card by Michelle Buschur caught my eye because of the fall colors, I loved it so I decided to make my own version of it using Retrosketches #128 as my layout.  🙂

And speaking of the 2014 Holiday Catalogs…they’re hitting mailboxes right now so be on the lookout for yours!  If you’re a customer of mine, you should be receiving your catalog shortly (if you haven’t already received it).  If your catalog does not arrive by the middle of next week, please let me know so that I can send out another one.  If you’re not a current customer but would like to be, please drop me a note or fill out a catalog request form and I’ll ship a catalog out to you right away.  This fantastic this year!!

Wondrous Wreath - Stamp With Amy K

Screen Shot 2014-08-21 at 1.31.20 PMI started by embossing a panel of Cajun Craze card stock with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a Mossy Meadow card base with SNAIL.  Then I adhered a panel of the Color Me Autumn DSP (available Aug 28) at an angle across the card front with SNAIL.

I cut a piece of the 1-1/4″ Burlap Ribbon in half lengthwise and pulled a few of the strands out to give it a frayed appearance, then adhered it to the card front with Fast Fuse Adhesive (see the how to use Fast Fuse video here).  Then I adhered a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the Burlap Ribbon after I’d rounded the corners with the Project Life Corner Punch.

Wondrous Wreath 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the images from the Wondrous Wreath photopolymer stamp set (available Aug 28) in Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Blackberry Bliss inks on a Whisper White panel.  I cut the images out with the matching Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies (available Aug 28), then adhered the wreath with Stampin’ Dimenesionals and the bow with SNAIL to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Four You stamp set in VersaMark ink on a Blackberry Bliss card stock panel, sprinkled it with Crushed Curry Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I punched the ends with the Hexagon Punch and adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied Linen Thread through a Gold Basic Metal Button (available Aug 28), then adhered the button to the card front with a Glue Dot.

Color Me Autumn DSP - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a strip of Color Me Autumn DSP to a strip of Mossy Meadow card stock, then to a Whisper White panel inside the card.
