Stampin’ Up! Endless Wishes for Stamping and Blogging

I used the Endless Wishes stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create my card for the Stamping and Blogging sketch challenge this week.  Once you check out my project, be sure to stop by the other design team members blogs to see what they’ve created with this sketch.

Endless Wishes - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by the Stamping and Blogging SB81 sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of All Is Calm Speciality DSP to a panel of Lost Lagoon card stock with SNAIL, then to a Soft Sky card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Endless Wishes 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the images from the Endless Wishes photopolymer stamp set in Lost Lagoon, Pear Pizzazz and Soft Sky inks on a Whisper White panel.  Then I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink, sprinkled it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

Endless Wishes 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Lost Lagoon card stock with SNAIL, then wrapped a strand of Pear Pizzazz 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon around the panel and adhered it with SNAIL.  I adhered the stamped panel to the card front with SNAIL, then added Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the center of each snowflake.

Endless Wishes 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I punched a 1-1/4″ Circle from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, adhered it to a 1-3/8″ Circle Punch from Lost Lagoon card stock with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I wanted to use the snowflake die from the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies set to create my embellishment, but the actual die cut was too large for what I needed…so I chopped it up!  I cut the snowflake from Silver Foil Sheets and snipped the four longer “arms” off.  I put a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the back of the snowflake, then reattached the arms by sliding them in and adhering them with the glue.

I adhered my modified snowflake to the card front with a Glue Dot, then cut the smaller snowflake from Lost Lagoon card stock and I adhered it over the Silver Foil snowflake with a touch of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a Rhinestone to the center of the snowflake to finish the card front.

Endless Wishes 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the snowflake images from the Endless Wishes stamp set in Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz and Lost Lagoon inks on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

Now that you’ve seen my project, be sure to stop by the other Stamping & Blogging Design Team Member’s blogs to see what they’ve created with this sketch.

  1. Super card, Amy! Love how you modified the snowflake to make it do what you needed it to do. And the colors are great. Love being on CA time so I can read your post every morning before I get ready for work! 😉

  2. Beautiful card. Very creative way to use the snowflake and make it work when it was too big–Perfect use of color and bling!

  3. I’m going to echo a few my fellow “thinkers” thoughts….this is truly a beautiful use of the DSP with the Endless Wishes set – they are made for each other 🙂 And great thinking outside the box and making the big lacy Snowflake work for you. I really love how you made it all came together and is so gorgeous Amy 😉

  4. The stamped snowflakes goes so well with the patterned paper you have chosen, who knew! Beautiful card as always Amy xx

  5. Love these little lovely snowflakes! You made a very pretty card combining these with the designer paper. Love the litte details on your card.
