Stampin’ Up! Gold and Ivory Christmas Bauble & Online Extravaganza Starts Today!

I used the Christmas Bauble and Endless Wishes stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create a gold and Very Vanilla card to share with you today.

Christmas Bauble - Stamp With Amy K My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #163.

Screen Shot 2014-11-23 at 2.05.10 PMI started by embossing a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder, then I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Brushed Gold card stock.  I wrapped a strand of Gold 5/8″ Satin Ribbon around the embossed panel and I adhered it with SNAIL.

Christmas Bauble 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the Christmas Bauble image in VersaMark Ink on a Very Vanilla panel, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I colored a few touches on the ornament with my Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers, then cut the image out with one of the dies from the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits die set.  I adhered the panel to a panel of Brushed Gold card stock that I’d punched with the Project Life Corner Punch, then to the card front with SNAIL.

Christmas Bauble 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped and embossed the image from the Christmas Bauble stamp set a second time on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock, then colored the holly with my Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers.  I snipped out the holly leaves with my Paper Snips, then adhered them with SNAIL to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Endless Wishes photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink and embossed it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I punched the sentiment out with the Small Oval Punch and adhered it with SNAIL to a tag that I’d cut from Brushed Gold card stock with one of the dies from the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Dies.

Christmas Bauble 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered anther strand of the Gold 5/8″ Satin Ribbon around the panel and adhered it with SNAIL, then tied a bow and adhered it with a Glue Dot over the ribbon.  I tucked the sentiment tag under the bow and adhered it with SNAIL.  Then I adhered the layered panel to a Very Vanilla card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Bright & Beautiful - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Bright & Beautiful stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a Very Vanilla panel and heat embossed it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder to finish the inside of the card.

  1. This is a beautiful card, Amy! I have to restrain myself from ordering the ornament stamp. Stampin’ Up has an extra special Christmas catalog this year. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

  2. This is such a beautiful and elegant card Amy 🙂 Oh so cool way to do a “double” wrap of the gold ribbon! I really like the way you created this card so clean looking with all of the awesome details as well 😉 Another stamp I’ve wavered over and you’ve just made a gorgeous card with it, hmmm………
