I used the Petal Potpourri and Hello There stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today.  The sketch challenge that I played along with today had a one layer card for a twist…that was pretty tough for me!  But I liked the final result.

My card design was inspired by Sunday Stamps SSC98.

The colors for my card were inspired by The Card Concept #32.  My card fits into the clean and simple category.

I started by stamping the splatter images from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink across the front of a Coastal Cabana card base.

I inked up the solid image of the leaves from the Stippled Blossoms stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink, stamped it once on scrap paper and stamped it on the card front.  Then I stamped the small leaf image from the Stippled Blossoms stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink over the solid leave image, using my Stamp-a-ma-jig to help with placement.

I stamped the flower image from the Petal Potpourri stamp set in VersaMark Ink on the card front, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  Then I stamped the flower center in VersaMark Ink, sprinkled with Calypso Coral Stampin’ Emboss Powder and I heat embossed it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Hello There hostess exclusive stamp set in VersaMark Ink over the flower image, sprinkled it with Calypso Coral Stampin’ Emboss Powder and I heat embossed it to finish the one layer card front.

I stamped the flower images from the Petal Potpourri stamp set in Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral inks across a Whisper White panel.  I adhered the stamped panel to a Calypso Coral panel, then to the inside of the card.
