I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Painted Petals to create my card to share with you today.

Painted Petals - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches 180.

Screen Shot 2015-04-05 at 4.10.09 PMMy design was also inspired by CAS-ual Fridays CFC138.

Screen Shot 2015-04-05 at 4.12.10 PM

And the colors for my card were inspired by Pals Paper Arts 246.

Screen Shot 2015-04-05 at 4.14.50 PM

I started by stamping the flower images from the Painted Petals stamp set in Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe inks across a Whisper White panel.  I inked the flower and stem images once and stamped them twice across the card front to create a little depth.

Painted Petals 2 - Stamp With Amy K

Then I stamped the sentiment from the Painted Petals stamp set in Crumb Cake ink over the flower images in the lower right corner.  I adhered the stamped panel to the top section of a panel of Crumb Cake card stock and I adhered a strip from the Stacked With Love DSP Stack to the lower section with SNAIL.

Painted Petals 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I used the scalloped oval from the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies to cut a small panel of Pistachio Pudding DSP from the All Abloom DSP Stack and I adhered it with SNAIL over the Crisp Cantaloupe DSP panel.

Painted Petals 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a strip of Crumb Cake card stock with SNAIL over the seam between the stamped panel and the DSP panel, then wrapped a strand of Pistachio Pudding Thick Baker’s Twine around the panel and tied a bow.  I adhered the layered panel to a Pistachio Pudding card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.

Painted Petals 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower images from the Painted Petals stamp set again in Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe inks on a Whisper White panel inside the card and I adhered a strip from the All Abloom DSP Stack with SNAIL.

You can find a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.

  1. This is really pretty, Amy! I like the depth you added by stamping off some of the flowers and stems! I can almost feel the slight breeze happening just by looking at this beauty~

  2. That is too funny, I thought of the same thing that Roberta did! I could feel the breezes slipping through the flowers! 😉 You made them so perfect with the stamping off. I really like the piece of oval that you scalloped. You always have the neatest details that really set your cards apart. I learn a lot from your blog, thanks Amy!! 😀

  3. i enjoy your blog every morning with my coffee and you never disappoint. This is another favorite. I love how you stamped the flowers twice to get two color variations on the flowers. And of course you never neglect the inside of your cards.

  4. Such beautiful flowers and oh so delicate colours- great card. Thanks for joining us at CASual Fridays Challenge, Rebecca x
