Stampin’ Up! Painted Petals With Ray of Sunshine

I used the Stampin’ Up! stamp sets Painted Petals, Ray of Sunshine and Kinda Eclectic to create my card to share today.

Ray of Sunshine - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #183.

Screen Shot 2015-04-26 at 1.34.57 PMI started by adhering two strips cut from the All Abloom DSP Stack (on the retiring list for 50% off!) to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Ray of Sunshine stamp set in VersaMark Ink above the paper strips, sprinkled it with Blushing Bride Stampin’ Emboss Powder (on the retiring list for 50% off!) and I heat embossed it.

Kinda Eclectic - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Blushing Bride card stock with SNAIL and to a Daffodil Delight card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I stamped the sun image from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink on a panel of Whisper White.

Painted Petals 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower images from the Painted Petals stamp set in Blushing Bride and Mossy Meadow inks on the panel with the sun image.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Blushing Bride card stock with SNAIL, then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensioanls.

Painted Petals - Stamp With Amy K

I pulled a strand of Blushing Bride Baker’s Twine (on the retiring list for 50% off!) through a Blushing Bride button from the Subtles Designer Buttons pack, then tied a bow and adhered the button to the card front with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

Kinda Eclectic 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I inked the sun image from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set again in Daffodil Delight ink, stamped it on scrap paper once, then stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.

  1. Amy, I’m in love with this card! It reminds me of Spring mornings. The sun popping up on the pretty flowers 🙂 These colors work so well together. I think I want to make this one first, from my “Amy gotta make ideas”!! 😀

  2. I would never have thought to put those colors together but they work so well for this! Love the card! You are so creative! Thanks for sharing with us!

    • Thanks so much Susan! The color combination came right off the All Abloom DSP pack…I love that Stampin’ Up! puts these great colors together for me. It makes my color choices much easier! 🙂
