Stampin’ Up! Sheltering Tree In Cucumber Crush

I used some of the new Stampin’ Up! In Colors and the Sheltering Tree stamp set to create my card for the Stamping and Blogging sketch challenge this week.

Sheltering Tree - Stamp With Amy K

Here is the sketch SB105, head over to the Sketch & Stamp blog to play along!  And be sure to click the links below to see what the other Design Team Members have created with this sketch.

Screen Shot 2015-05-19 at 3.44.07 PMI started by stamping the images from the Sheltering Tree photopolymer stamp set in Tip Top Taupe, Cucumber Crush, Crushed Curry, Watermelon Wonder, Bermuda Bay and Memento Tuxedo Black inks.  I inked up the grass image in Cucumber Crush and stamped it off once before stamping it on the panel.

Sheltering Tree 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered two strips of the Cherry On Top Designer Washi Tape to a panel of Crushed Curry card stock, then I adhered the stamped panel over them with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to a Bermuda Bay card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Sheltering Tree 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Sheltering Tree stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink on a strip of Whisper White card stock and I punched the end with the Banner Triple Punch.  I layered the sentiment over a strip of Bermuda Bay card stock that I’d also punched with the Triple Banner Punch, then adhered the sentiment to the card front with SNAIL.

Sheltering Tree 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I pulled a strand of Linen Thread through a Crushed Curry button from the Regals Designer Buttons pack and I tied a little bow.  I adhered the button to the card front with a Glue Dot to finish it.

Sheltering Tree 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the little flower images from the Sheltering Tree stamp set in Bermuda Bay and Cucumber Crush inks on a panel of Whipser White card stock inside the card.

Now that you’ve seen my project, be sure to stop by the other Stamping & Blogging Design Team Member’s blogs to see what they’ve created with this sketch.
