Stampin’ Up! Jingle All The Way in Blue

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Jingle All the Way stamp set and Sleigh Ride Edgelits Bundle from the upcoming 2015 Holiday Catalog to create my card to share today.

Jingle All The Way - Stamp With Amy K

The pastel colors for my card were inspired by Merry Monday #168.

Screen Shot 2015-08-07 at 1.31.31 PMI started by adhering a panel from the Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum (available Sept 1) to a panel of Pool Party card stock with SNAIL.  I ran the SNAIL on the lower edge of the panel so that it would be hidden under the die cuts.  Then I adhered the layered panel to a Soft Sky card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Jingle All The Way 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I used the tree die from the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies to cut a panel of Pool Party card stock and I adhered the panel to the card front with SNAIL.  I cut a panel of Soft Sky card stock with the house die from that die set and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

Jingle All The Way 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I cut a Whisper White panel with the sleigh die from the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies set, then stamped the sentiment from the Jingle All The Way stamp set in Pool Party ink under it.  I adhered the stamped panel to the card front with SNAIL.

I adhered a Winter Wonderland Embellishment with a Glue Dot under the sentiment to finish the card front.

Jingle All The Way 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the images from the Jingle All The Way stamp set in Soft Sky ink on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

I’ve had a few questions about how I did the die cutting for this card.  This is how I placed the dies so that they overlapped the way that I wanted them to.  I started with three panels of 4″ x 5-1/4″ card stock (one Pool Party, one Soft Sky and one Whisper White).  As I placed each die, I stacked the next layer on top of the previous one so that I’d know where to line the edges of the dies up.

Once I had the dies all placed and taped down, I ran them through the big shot individually to cut them and I adhered them together with SNAIL.  I hope that helps!

  4. Absolutely LOVE your card, Amy! Will be CASE-ing it for sure — my set will arrive next week! 🙂

  5. Amy your card is FABULOUS! I think it needs a “card of the year” award. I love it and will now have to purchase that bundle. Hope all your customers do too.

  6. Love this card. Had decided I didn’t need this set, but after seeing this card, I may have to re-think my wish list.

  7. Okay, you, my dear, have created the perfect pastel Christmas card. Love how you layered your snow, the background snowflakes…just about everything about your card send me.

  8. This card is stunning! I have a question… how did you attach the top of the vellum ? I see you said you attached the bottom with Snail but how did you attach the top?

    • Thanks so much Barbara! I actually didn’t attach the top of the vellum, it’s loose but it lays down fairly flat. The only place that I’ve attached it is hidden under the die cuts. 🙂

  9. I love this card. But why is it impossible to print the instructions from your site. I like to keep instructions for future reference. Love your creations.

    • I’m glad that you like my card Linda, sorry that you’re having problems printing the instructions. You can try to open it in another browser (sometimes Google Chrome does not work well for printing) or you can copy and paste the information into a Word document and print it that way. Hope that helps! 🙂

  10. Hi Amy,
I have been getting your email updates for a while now and wanted to tell you just how beautiful this card is. I have seen many, many cards using these dies, but yours by far outdoes all of them. And I so appreciate the pictorial directions on how you achieved this finished card! Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. 🙂
    God bless you,
    Linda Snyder
