Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Pines for Sunday Stamps

I used the Peaceful Pines stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create my card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.

Peaceful Pines - Stamp With Amy K

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC110.  Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps blog to check out what the other Design Team Members have created with this sketch and be sure to play along too!

I started by cutting a panel of Merry Moments DSP at an angle, then adhering it with SNAIL to a panel of Crumb Cake card stock.  Then I cut a very thin strip of Merry Moments DSP and adhered next to the first angled panel with a thin bead of glue from the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.

***Quick Tip for layering card stock at an angle:  I cut my angled panel of card stock over the size that I need and I adhere it to the second layer of card stock, then trim off the excess.  That ensures that my edges line up perfectly!

Peaceful Pines 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Oh, What Fun photopolymer stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink just above the angled DSP, then I adhered the layered panel to a Mossy Meadow card stock panel with SNAIL and to an Old Olive card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Peaceful Pines 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the tree image from the Peaceful Pines photopolymer stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Old Olive card stock, cut it out with the matching Perfect Pines Framelits die and I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the images of the gifts in Crumb Cake ink and the ornaments in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and I cut them out with matching Perfect Pines Framelits Dies.  I added a little color to the bows on the gifts with my Mossy Meadow, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Markers.

Peaceful Pines 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the ornaments and two of the gifts with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen, then adhered the third gift with a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I cut a star from Gold Foil Sheets with the Perfect Pines Framelits die and adhered it with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to finish the card front.

Peaceful Pines 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I inked the tree image from the Perfect Pines stamp set in Old Olive ink, stamped it on scrap paper twice, then stamped it on a Whisper White panel inside the card.  I added the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink to finish the inside.
