Stampin’ Up! Lighthearted Leaves with Stripes

I used the Stampin’ Up! Lighthearted Leaves and Brushstrokes stamp sets to create my card to share today.

Lighthearted Leaves - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #148.

The fall theme for my card was inspired by Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #22.

And the striped background on my card was inspired by Just Us Girls #318.

I started by inking the Brushstrokes stamp image in Crumb Cake ink, stamping it on scrap paper twice, then stamping it on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock.

Lighthearted Leaves 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I punched a panel of So Saffron card stock with the Ornate Tag Topper Punch on one end and the Project Life Corner Punch on the other and sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink.  I pulled a strand of Pumpkin Pie 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon through the tag top and tied a strand of Gold Baker’s Twine around it, then adhered the to tag the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lighthearted Leaves 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the leaf image from the Lighthearted Leaves photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock, sprinkled it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I colored the image with my Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Markers, cut it out with the matching Leaflets Framelits die and adhered it to the card front with Glue Dots.

Lighthearted Leaves 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Lighthearted Leaves photopolymer stamp set in Basic Black Archival ink on the lower center of the Crumb Cake panel, then adhered the stamped panel to a Crumb Cake card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lighthearted Leaves 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the image from the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock inside the card.

  4. Such a lovely card! I like stamps that remind me of Mehndi/Mehandi (henna) art that is drawn on the skin and commonly found in India, Pakistan and some Arabic cultures. This set is one of my favorites.

  5. Lovely card Amy! I almost did not recognize the Brushstrokes background as I had never seen it used stamped off twice. I really like the subtle effect that makes. Your leaf coloring is excellent too. I’m with Tina, now I need that stamp too. Amy The Enabler strikes again……..

  6. Wowzers Amy, this card is awesome!! From your gorgeous leaf to the totally awesome striped background 🙂 That striped background is stunning in it’s simplicity, it adds the perfect layer. I can’t wait to try this too. Who knows maybe my stamp room will get done during Thanksgiving break – finally! 😉

  7. Stunning Amy. I love the backdrop of the crumb cake for everything and the Black emboss powder makes the leaf just pop. Your creativity amazes me.

  10. Amy, it’s 2018 and I found this card on Splitcoast Stampers today. I loved it and am CASE-ing it for our nephew and his wife’s anniversary this week. Their wedding colors were very similar. Thank you so much for sharing your talent.
