I used the Cozy Christmas, Holly Jolly Greetings and Jolly Christmas stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! to stamp on some chalkboard ornaments that I found at my local craft store.
The ornaments were very inexpensive, under $1 each and I thought they’d make nice tags for some of my holiday gifts!
I stamped the images and sentiments in Versamark Ink, sprinkled them with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heated the images.
I sponged the edges with a little Whisper White Craft Stampin’ Ink and heated them one last time to dry them.
I thought that the ornaments looked great tied up with a little Very Vanilla 1-1/4″ Subtle Striped Satin Ribbon, some Real Red Pompom Trim and one of the Snowflake Elements.
Who doesn’t love the gift of stamps?? 😉

What an awesome idea Amy! 🙂 Hmmm, think I “need” to go shopping and look at ornaments a little differently 😉
Thanks Jill! Glad that you liked them…they were really easy to stamp on. Not slippery like the glass ornaments are. 🙂
Great idea. I was just there yesterday and they were on a doorbuster sale. I didn’t know what I was going to do with them but just had to have a couple of each. Now I know except for Frosty’s hat. Thanks!
Thanks Roberta! Have fun stamping on your ornaments! 🙂
