Stampin’ Up! From Land to Sea Thank You

I used the Stampin’ Up! From Land to Sea, By the Tide and Rose Wonder stamp sets to create my card to share today.

From Land to Sea - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #165.

And the theme for my card was inspired by Just Us Girls #336.

I started by inking the images from the By The Tide stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink, stamping them on scrap paper, then stamping them on a panel of Lost Lagoon card stock.

From Land to Sea 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Rose Wonder stamp set in VersaMark Ink on the Lost Lagoon card stock panel, sprinkled it with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I adhered a strip from the Going Placed DSP Stack under the sentiment with SNAIL, then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to a Delightful Dijon card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

From Land to Sea 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the turtle image from the From Land to Sea stamp set in Basic Black Archival Ink on a panel of watercolor paper, then used my Aqua Painters along with Mossy Meadow and Delightful Dijon inks to watercolor the turtle.  I let the image dry completely, cut it out and adhered it to a the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

From Land to Sea 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I added a single Basic Black Candy Dot from the Neutrals Candy Dots pack next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

From Land to Sea 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I inked the images from the From Land to Sea and By the Tide stamp sets again in Delightful Dijon, Lost Lagoon and Mossy Meadow inks, stamped them on scrap paper twice then stamped them on a Very Vanilla panel inside the card.

  1. I love your card and the colors you used. I really like those stamp sets I need to use them more. I like that it can be used for a masculine card. I have so much trouble coming up with masculine ideas. I think Lost Lagoon is one of my absolute favorite colors. Happy I just bought a pack of that color.

  2. Awesome card Amy! I love the ocean and you really brought your A game! The snipped turtle is the topper 😉 The colors are perfect, the Dsp is an awesome choice for nautical creation 🙂

  3. Great take on the challenge. I love that stamp set, and it’s perfect for the inspirational photo. Beautiful colors, and I really like how you stamped the images on the card stock with the same color ink. Really nice!!! Thanks for playing along with us this week over at Just Us Girls!

  4. Always love your cards. You have such a knack for creating the perfect card to make me want another stamp set. My daughter loves sea turtles and these also will make great guy cards which I always have trouble creating. Thanks again for a great card…..now I need to go order this set!

  5. Your turtle is cut out so perfectly, it almost looks like a die-cut! My first thought was hey, I need that die! 🙂 I love how you combined the two different sea-themed sets together into one great card. I had bought both stamp sets figuring that I could mix and match them, but your card is the first where I’ve seen them in used together – and perfectly at that!

  6. Love this sea life card Amy! The strip of watercolors going across the middle adds so much interest to his card! Super design! Thanks for joining us for our Photo Inspiration at Just Us Girls!
