Stampin’ Up! CAS Tin of Cards Hello

I used the Stampin’ Up! Tin of Cards stamp set and a little of the retiring Farmers Market DSP and Blackberry Bliss card stock to create my card to share today.

Tin of Cards - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #170.

Screen Shot 2016-05-03 at 7.15.38 PM

I started by adhering a panel of the Farmers Market DSP (retiring) to the front of a Blackberry Bliss card base (card stock retiring) with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Tin of Cards 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Tin of Cards photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock, sprinkled it with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder (available June 1) and heat embossed it.

Tin of Cards 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the butterfly and leaf images from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink (retired) on the Blackberry Bliss card stock panel, then I cut the panel into four pieces and adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

**Unfortunately, the Blackberry Bliss ink pad has just sold out, but you can create a very similar look by stamping those images in VersaMark Ink and allowing them to dry.

Tin of Cards 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a single Very Vanilla Candy Dot from the Neutrals Candy Dots (retiring) pack next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

Tin of Cards 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered a strip of the Farmers Market DSP to a panel of Very Vanilla card stock inside the card.

  1. LOVE this simple geometric (masculine) card. have hardly used farmers market and dont like blackberry bliss all that much BUT i really really like this rendition!! (like a LOT of your work)
    jo ann.

  2. What a unique sketch, you did an awesome job interpreting it!! I like the way your “x” goes one way and the direction of the DSP goes the other. And your butterflies are the perfect topper 😉 Sweet!

  3. Unique and clever interpretation of the sketch – I loved this DSP when I received it but have only used a little bit of it. Great CAS card!

  4. I have to admit that sketch challenge stumped me, but wow, how you rocked it! This one is really cool! I will miss blackberry bliss-even though it took me about a year to gro to really like it! 🙂
