Stampin’ Up! Sunburst Sayings Shine Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sunburst Sayings, Balloon Celebration and Kinda Eclectic stamp sets to create my card to share today.

Sunburst Sayings - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #172.

And the theme for my card was inspired by The Card Concept #55.  I think this qualifies as a clean and simple card.  🙂

Screen Shot 2016-05-17 at 12.17.51 PM

I started by stamping the sun image from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set in Crushed Curry ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

Sunburst Sayings 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the cloud images from the Balloon Celebration photopolymer stamp set in Soft Sky ink over the sun image, then stamped the little “v” images from the Sunburst Sayings stamp set in Crumb cake ink on the panel.

Sunburst Sayings 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sentiment from the Sunburst Sayings stamp set in Versamark Ink, sprinkled it with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder (available June 1) and heat embossed it.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Crushed Curry card stock with SNAIL, then to a Soft Sky card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel to finish the card front.

Kinda Eclectic - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the sun image from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set in Crushed Curry ink and the clouds from the Balloon Celebration stamp set in Soft Sky ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.

  1. I saw your card in the Card Concept gallery, and had to comment. It’s wonderful! The design and stamps you’ve used are fantastic and are perfect for this challenge. I think you’ve got a winner here. Sweet card!! Love it!

  2. Another beautifully designed card, Amy! I especially like the effect of the images stamped onto other images.

  3. Amy, you blow my mind with how you interpret sketches. They are so spot on and creative! 🙂 I love how you incorporated these two sketches and your card is a phenomenal outcome! You’ve got some serious mojo girl!! 😀

    • Ha! Not sure about serious mojo, but I do love to play with ink and paper! Sketches are awesome…gives me a starting point, otherwise I’d be using the same layout for everything! 🙂
