I used the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Love stamp set to create my card to share today. I love this bundle, so many neat images and dies to match! 🙂
My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #239.
I started by adhering a panel from the Serene Scenery DSP Stack to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I embossed a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Fluttering Embossing Folder and I adhered it to a panel of Bermuda Bay card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL.
I stamped the jar image and sentiment from the Jar of Love photopolymer stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. Then I stamped the water image inside the jar in Soft Sky ink and the twine image in Blushing Bride ink and I cut the jar out with the matching Everyday Jars Framelits dies.
I punched a 1-3/8″ Circle Punch from Whisper White card stock and adhered it to the back of the jar die cut so that half of the circle was peeking over the top. I stamped the flower and leaf images from the Jar of Love stamp set in Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Wild Wasabi inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock and I cut them out with the Everyday Jars Framelits dies. I adhered the flowers and leaves to the circle punch with Glue Dots.
I adhered the jar image to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and I added a few random Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of the Serene Scenery DSP of a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.

That is so cute! I did not order, but thought of getting it and putting the fireflies in there! We do that every summer when the grands come here. Can’t find them much in Florida since they spray for mosquitoes so much down there!

Thank you so much for such a beautiful card! The jar actually looks like it has water in it! Not to many inks can do that. Awesome! But, I do have a question? In your Card stock cuts, it says something about ten Jars of Love? Does this mean we cut 10 different jars to add depth? Or does it mean we need 10 jars of Love for inside and outside? I’m not really sure what the ten jars of love are for? I was also wondering about the 1 3/4″ circle you punched out? Was to use as guide for your flowers ( so as not to go to high, too low, outside the jar?) It was a great idea, just wanted to know what it was for? All this doesn’t matter, just wondering? But, a big Thank You, is always in order when you share with us! If you could answer my questions, I would appreciate it. You are one of the best!
Thanks so much for your nice comments Gloria. Sorry if I confused you with my wording. On the die cuts, there are 10 total die cuts with the Everyday Jars dies…that includes all of the little flower die cuts on top of the jar. There is only one actual jar.
On the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch, I adhered that to the back of the jar die cut so that about 1/3 of it peeked up over the top. That gave me something to attach the flower die cuts to so that I could have the entire jar popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. There was a little of the 1-3/4″ circle punch that I had to trim away because it stuck out around the edges of the jar. Hope that helps! 🙂
