I used the Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Branches stamp set and Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies that will be available between August 2 and 31 (while supplies last) to create my card to share today.
My card design was inspired by Can You Case It #128.
And the colors for my card were inspired by Cupcake Inspirations 366.
I started by stamping the grass and flower images from the Sheltering Tree photopolymer stamp set in Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder inks on a panel of Pool Party card stock. The grass image was stamped on scrap paper once before stamping it on the panel.
I stamped the tree trunk, leaves and bird images from the Thoughtful Branches photopolymer stamp set (available Aug 2-31) in Tip Tip Taupe, Emerald Envy and Watermelon Wonder inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock, cut them out with the matching Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies (available Aug 2-31), then adhered them to the Pool Party card stock panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I stamped the sentiment from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set in VersaMark ink on the top of the Pool Party panel, sprinkled it with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. Once it cooled, I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Watermelon Wonder card stock with SNAIL.
I wrapped a strand of Emerald Envy Solid Baker’s Twine around the panel, tied a bow, then adhered the panel to a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I inked the images from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set in Tip Top Taupe and Emerald Envy inks, stamped them on scrap paper, then stamped them on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
