Stampin’ Up! Shooting Star Sweet as Can Bee

I used the Stampin’ Up! Shooting Star and Falling Flowers stamp sets to create my card to share today.

Shooting Star - Stamp With Amy K

My card design was inspired by Stamp, Ink, Paper #58.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Shooting Star stamp set in the lower right corner of a panel of Cucumber Crush card stock in VersaMark Ink.  I sprinkled the sentiment with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

Shooting Star 1 - Stamp With Amy K

I adhered the stamped panel to the lower half of a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL and then adhered a panel of Flirty Flamingo DSP from the 2016-2018 In Color DSP Stack with SNAIL to the upper half of the panel.  I adhered the layered panel to a Flirty Flamingo card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Shooting Star 3 - Stamp With Amy K

I punched a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch on one end and the Project Life Corner Punch on the other.  I pulled strands of Cucumber Crush Thick Baker’s Twine through the hole at the top of the tag and tied a knot.  I adhered the tag to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the leaf images from the Falling Flowers stamp set in Cucumber Crush ink on a panel of Cucumber Crush card stock and cut them out with the matching May Flowers Framelits (available in a bundle with the Falling Flowers stamp set for 10% off).  I snipped off the ends of the die cuts and adhered them to the tag with Glue Dots.

Shooting Star 2 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped the flower image from the Falling Flowers stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Flirty Flamingo card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the flower out with the May Flowers Framelits Die and adhered it with Glue Dots to the card front.

I stamped the bee image from the Shooting Star stamp set in Basic Black Archival ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and colored it with Daffodil Delight and Basic Black Stampin’ Write Markers.  I cut the bee out with the matching Sliding Star Framelits die (available in a bundle with the Shooting Star stamp set for 10% off) and adhered it with a Stampin’ Dimensional to the card front.

I added a little Clear Wink of Stella to the wings of the bee and a Daffodil Delight enamel heart from the Brights Enamel Shapes pack to finish the card front.

Shooting Star 4 - Stamp With Amy K

I stamped and colored the bee image from the Shooting Star stamp set on a Whisper White panel inside the card.
