Stampin’ Up! Jar of Haunts for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop

HappyStampersBlogPostBannerI used the Stampin’ Up! Jar of Haunts stamp set from the 2016 Holiday Catalog to create my card for the Happy Stampers blog hop.  We’ve got a fun color challenge this week that is just perfect for Halloween!

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

sept-8

I started by adhering a smaller panel of the Halloween Night Speciality DSP to a larger panel from that same pack with SNAIL.  I punched a narrow strip from that DSP pack with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered it over the Pumpkin Pie panel with SNAIL.

I stamped the spider image from the Jar of Haunts photopolymer stamp set in Basic Black Archival ink several times across the top of the larger DSP panel.  I used my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to draw the lines from the spider images to the top of the DSP panel.

I stamped the sentiment from the Jar of Haunts stamp set in Basic Black Archival ink above the Pumpkin Pie DSP panel and then adhered the DSP panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Halloween Night Baker’s Twine around the panel, tied a bow and then adhered the layered panel to a Basic Gray card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the mummy jar image from the Jar of Haunts stamp set in Basic Black Archival ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the image out with the matching Everyday Jars Framelits die, sponged the edges with Pumpkin Pie card stock and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Pumpkin Pie enamel dot from the Halloween Night Enamel Dots pack next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the spider images in Basic Black Archival ink across the top of a panel of Whisper White card stock and then used my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to draw the lines.  I adhered a strip of the Halloween Night DSP on the lower part of the panel and then adhered it to the inside of the card.

  1. OMGosh, I love it, how stinking adorable and it’s perfect for the challenge this week and I love how it coordinates with the Everyday Jars Framelits, that is so cool

  2. Amy you are so clever, I could not get inspired by that DSP brick pattern. Your card has challenged me to rethink and create!! Very clever! Love the card.

  3. I’m not much of a Halloween person but I think your card is super cute! I love the hanging spiders and the background.

  4. Those cute spiders are what caught my attention first too! So cute and love that you repeated them inside! Totally awesome!
