Stampin’ Up! Cookie Cutter Christmas Baby Card

HappyStampersBlogPostBannerI used the Stampin’ Up! Cookie Cutter Christmas and Baby Bear stamp sets to create a baby card for the Happy Stampers blog hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and here is the card that I created for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

sept-29-2016

I started by adhering a panel from the Blooms & Bliss DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL and then to a Sweet Sugarplum card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a smaller strip of the Blooms & Bliss DSP to a smaller strip of Whisper White card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.  I punched the ends of two narrow strips of Blooms & Bliss DSP with the Banner Triple Punch and then adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.  I pulled a strand of Blushing Bride Solid Baker’s Twine through a Classy Designer Button, tied a bow and adhered it over the banners with a Glue Dot.

I stamped the bear image and the face image from the Cookie Cutter Christmas photopolymer stamp set in Crumb Cake and Soft Suede inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock and I punched the bear out with the matching Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.  I stamped the ears from the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on a separate panel of Whisper White card stock and then adhered the bear punch under the ears with SNAIL.  I cut the image out with a Layering Circles Framelits Die.

I placed the sentiment from the Baby Bear photopolymer stamp set on an acrylic block so that it had a slight curve.  I inked the sentiment with Sweet Sugarplum ink and stamped it on the edge of the circle die cut.  I adhered the Whisper White circle to a circle cut from Sweet Sugarplum card stock with another Layering Circles Framelits die with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped a bow in Blushing Bride ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and I punched it out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.  I adhered the bow with a Glue Dot to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the bear images from the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set in Crumb Cake and Soft Suede inks on a Whisper White panel and then stamped the sentiment from the Baby Bear stamp set in Sweet Sugarplum ink over it on the inside of the card.
