Stampin’ Up! Holly Berry Happiness Pastel Christmas

I used the Stampin’ Up! Holly Berry Happiness stamp set to create a pastel Christmas card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by the Fusion – Chairs to You Challenge.

The colors for my card were inspired by Global Design Project #GDP057.

I started by adhering a panel from the Fancy Frost Specialty DSP pack to a panel of Mint Macaron card stock with SNAIL and then to a Rich Razzleberry card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I lightly sponged a smaller panel from the Fancy Frost DSP with Mint Macaron ink and then adhered it to a panel of Mint Macaron card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.  I stamped the wreath images from the Holly Berry Happiness photopolymer stamp set in Mint Macaron and Rich Razzleberry inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Then I trimmed around the wreath with my Paper Snips.holly-berry-happiness-3-stamp-with-amy-k

I stamped the sentiment from the Holly Berry Happiness stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink on a separate panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut around it with one of the Layering Circles Framelits dies.  I adhered the wreath image over the die cut sentiment circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the die cut circle to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the holly, berry and bow images from the Holly Berry Happiness stamp set in Mint Macaron, Rich Razzleberry and Pink Pirouette inks on a panel of Whipser White card stock.  I punched the pieces out with the matching Holly Berry Builder Punch and adhered them to the card front with Glue Dots.  I added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Holly Berry Happiness stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Then I stamped the holly branch image in Mint Macaron ink over the sentiment.  I inked the holly berry image in Rich Razzleberry ink, stamped it on scrap paper twice and then stamped it on the panel to finish the inside of the card.

  1. So soft and serene looking! I hadn’t paid any attention to that stamp set but will have to give it a second look–I love those sentiments! TFS

  2. Amy, I love your pastels! So pretty, never would have thought of those colors for Christmas but so appropriate. Just lovely!

  3. What a gorgeous elegant card today! Your layering is phenomenal, you are the Layer Queen 😉 I also need to go back and check this set out. You always do this to me, lol!!

  4. Lovely card! What a labour of love to cut out that wreath by hand, You’ve inspired me to give it a go – so far my wreaths have been flat on the page.

  5. A breathtaking card Amy! These soft colours work so well for the Christmas wreath. Simply stunning. Thanks so much for playing along to the Global Design Project this week. xo
