I used the Stampin’ Up! Oh So Succulent and All Things Thanks stamp sets to create my card for the Happy Stampers Blog Hop today. We’ve got a sketch challenge and this is what I created for it.
Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:
My card also works for the Stamp Ink Paper #80 Challenge. I love this stamp set and designer paper!
I started by adhering a panel from the Succulent Garden DSP pack to a panel of Tip Top Taupe and then to a Thick Whisper White card base with SNAIL. I adhered one of the Lace Doilies with the white side up to the card front with SNAIL and then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a bow.
I stamped the sentiment from the All Things Thanks stamp set in Tip Top Taupe ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and I cut it out with a Layering Circles Framelits die. I adhered the die cut to another Layering Circles Framelits die cut form Tip Top Taupe card stock with SNAIL and the to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the images from the Oh So Succulent stamp set in Tip Top Taupe (for the outlines), Sweet Sugarplum, Calypso Coral (stamped off once) and Mint Macaron inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I cut the images out with the matching Succulent Framelits Dies and adhered them with Glue Dots to the card front. I added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels tucked around the die cuts to finish the card front.
I stamped the images from the Oh So Succulent stamp set in Tip Top Taupe, Sweet Sugarplum, Calypso Coral (stamped off) and Mint Macaron inks on a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.

Really pretty, Amy. I wasn’t sure about that set, but now, I really love it. You can work magic with stamps and ink! 🙂
Thanks Jari! Not sure about magic…but I do love to play with paper! 🙂
Beautiful card! I love your take on the sketch and that gingham is perfect for the background…adds color and enhances those pretty flowers. I second Jari’s thought that you make magic with stamps and ink!
Thanks Susan! 🙂
So pretty! I like the way you slipped that doily in there. Perhaps that’s a bit more of the magic.
Thanks Melanie! Felt like it needed something a little frilly with the gingham paper, glad that you like the doily. 🙂
I so agree with everyone! It looks like gingham is back and it also reminds me of warmer weather. I also think you’ve got some great mojo and love to see your creations 😉 You’ve created a real gem here Amy, love the added doily, the twine also makes a great touch!
