Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Sayings Sending Love for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop, formerly known as the Happy Stampers Blog Hop.  We’ve got a new logo and a slightly different name, but we’re still the same group.  Hope that you like the new look!  🙂

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Sayings and Sealed With Love stamp sets to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a color challenge and this is what I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using today.

My card design and the red and white colors were loosely inspired by the Fusion Challenge this week:

I started by adhering a panel from the Sending Love DSP Stack to the front of a Real Red card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the two heart images from the Sealed With Love photopolymer stamp set randomly over a panel of Whisper White card stock in VersaMark Ink.  I sprinkled the panel with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I stamped the “sending” sentiment from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set in Real Red ink on the Whisper White panel and then adhered the panel to a panel from the Gold Foil Sheets with SNAIL.  I cut the heart from Real Red card stock and the “love” sentiment from Gold Foil Sheets with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies and I adhered them to the Whisper White panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered the layered panel to the DSP covered card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then I added three Pearl Basic Jewels next to the sentiment to finish it.

I adhered a strip of the Sending Love DSP to a Whisper White panel inside the card.

  3. Love your new look, Amy! Beautiful, simple card with an attractive gold edging to tie in with the gold Love! Your off centered main panel creates a nice interest~

  4. Oh my gosh, there’s hearts everywhere 😉 At first I didn’t understand the comments, mind you my cell phone screen is tiny, then I went back and made it bigger….wow! Love all the hearts ❤, lol! Your “love” really adds the pop to finish out your beautiful card 🙂

  5. Great colour combo Amy and you turned it into the perfect Valentines cards…I just love those word Dies, they really add the final touch to cards don’t they.
