I used the Stampin’ Up! Layering Love stamp set to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a sketch challenge and this is what I created for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

The hearts on my card and the colors were inspired by The Card Concept 66.  I think my card fits into the clean and layered category.

I started by adhering a panel from the Sending Love DSP Stack to a panel of Real Red card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered two strips of paper from a different sheet in the Sending Love DSP Stack with SNAIL over the panel and then tied a strand of Blushing Bride Solid Baker’s Twine around the layered panel.

I stamped the sentiment from the Layering Love stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Real Red card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with the matching Sweet & Sassy Framelits Die and adhered it with SNAIL to a Sweet & Sassy Framelits die cut from Blushing Bride card stock.

I adhered the layered heart to the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three random Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  I adhered the panel to a Blushing Bride card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish the card front.

I adhered another strip of Sending Love DSP to a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.
