Stampin’ Up! Eastern Palace Suite Now Available!

I used the new Eastern Palace Suite from Stampin’ Up! to create a quick card to share with you today.  This suite of products, which includes three of the new 2017-19 In Color ink pads and two of the new In Color card stocks, is available for purchase now!

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #285.

I started by adhering a panel from the Eastern Palace Specialty DSP to a panel of Tranquil Tide cards stock with SNAIL and then to a Dapper Denim card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of Tranquil Tide card stock with one of the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies and then used the largest Layering Circles Framelits dies to cut around it.  I adhered the die cut to the card front with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then added a banner from Eastern Palace Specialty DSP that had been punched with the Banner Triple Punch.

I stamped the sentiment and circle images from the Eastern Beauty photopolymer stamp set in Dapper Denim and Fresh Fig inks, punched it out with the 1-1/4″ Circle Punch.  I adhered a 1-3/8″ Circle Punch from Dapper Denim card stock with SNAIL to the back of the sentiment circle and then I adhered the layered sentiment to a circle die cut from Gold Foil Sheets, a 1-3/4″ Circle Punch from Fresh Fig card stock and then an Eastern Medallions die cut from Gold Foil Sheets.  I added a single gold enamel dot from the Metallic Enamel Shapes pack to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of the Eastern Palace DSP to a Very Vanilla card stock panel inside the card.

You can see a list of supplies, including card stock cuts, for this project at the very bottom of this post.

I’m planning to go live with that video around 2:00 PM ET today showing you the watercolor spritzing technique that I used to create this card.  Our internet was out for most of Sunday and we’re supposed to have a tech here early this morning to look at it…hoping that we’ll be back online before then so that I can jump on Facebook and do a video with you today!

  1. This one I like ‘cuz you didn’t use that awful lemon lime twist! 😉 I know Mary thinks she can change my mind. Anyway, nice, simple card. Like the colors too. Great use of the sketch.

  2. Great take on the sketch. I love your pop of color with the gold and Fresh Fig. That largest layering circle fits around that perfectly! (No double points special?)

  3. I love all the layers Amy 🙂 I am going to have to see the lemon lime twist up close before I can make my opinion, lol! It’s a little…bright. I think I’m always like this when the in colors come out and then I get to play with them and most of the time I love them and don’t want them to go 😉
