I used the Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Wings, Gorgeous Grunge and Blooms & Wishes stamp sets to create my card to share today.
My card design was inspired by the Fusion sketch and image this week.
I started by stamping the butterfly image from the Watercolor Wings stamp set in VersaMark Ink twice on a panel of This Christmas Speciality DSP (retiring May 31). I sprinkled the images with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them.
Then I stamped the inks splatter image from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (retiring May 31) repeatedly in Wisteria Wonder, Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Blushing Bride inks over the panel. I wiped the excess ink from the embossed area with a paper towel and then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL. I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice, tied a bow and adhered the panel to a Marina Mist card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Blooms & Wishes photopolymer stamp set in Basic Black Archival ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock, cut it out with a Layering Ovals Framelits Die and the adhered it with SNAIL to a Layering Ovals Framelits die cut from Basic Black card stock. I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added a Marina Mist enamel dot from the Subtles Enamel Shapes pack to finish the card front.
I inked and stamped off the smaller layered butterfly images from the Watercolor Wings stamp set in Marina Mist ink and then added the body and antennae images in stamped off Basic Black Archival ink on a Very Vanilla panel inside the card.
