Stampin’ Up! Beautiful You CAS Paper Piecing Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful You and Eastern Beauty stamp sets to create my card to share today.

My card design was inspired by Fusion – Navy Patterns.

I started by adhering a panel from the Eastern Palace Speciality DSP to a Dapper Denim card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the image from the Beautiful You stamp set in Basic Black Archival ink on two other panels of Eastern Palace DSP.  I used a Paper Snips to cut out the umbrella and dress images from the DSP panels.

I stamped the image from the Beautiful You stamp set in Basic Black ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then adhered the two hand cut DSP pieces over the stamped image with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Lemon Lime Twist card stock (available June 1) and then to the card front with SNAIL.

I straightened the sentiment from the Eastern Beauty photopolymer stamp set as I adhered it to an acrylic block.  I stamped the sentiment in Dapper Denim ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then I stamped the border image from the Thoughtful Banners photopolymer stamp set  in Lemon Lime Twist ink around it.  I punched the sentiment out with the matching Classic Label Punch and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a gold enamel dot from the Metallic Enamel Shapes pack to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of the Eastern Beauty DSP to a Very Vanilla card stock panel inside the card.

You can see a list of supplies used, including card stock cuts, to create this card at the very bottom of this blog post.

  1. Amy, I always love the way you incorporate the DSP with the dress or umbrella. This is the card that has convinced me to give it a try. It is lovely while not being too fussy. LOVE IT!

  2. You are a Fusion Rock Star 😉 Love the paper piecing and the colors, wow and super wow! You encourage me to try this myself ☺
