Stampin’ Up! Lots of Love – Sending Love Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Lots of Love stamp set and a little of the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP to create my card to share today.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #294.

I started by adhering a panel from the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP to a Basic Black card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a panel of Basic Black card stock to the center of the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a strip of Burlap Ribbon using Fast Fuse Adhesive to adhere it and a strand of Black Mini Sequin Trim over the Burlap Ribbon using Glue Dots to adhere it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Lots of Love stamp set in Basic Black Archival ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the images of the flowers and leaves around the sentiment using a Stamp-a-ma-jig to help with placement.  The images are stamped in Pool Party, Tranquil Tide, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz inks.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Pool Party card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the to the card front wth Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.

I adhered a strip of the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP to a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.

You can see a list of supplies, including card stock cuts, to create this project at the very bottom of my blog post.

  1. Your artwork piece is perfect–It’s a nice compliment to the dark, busy but pretty WLL paper. Love the burlap and mini sequins…I never think to use them. Very pretty. TFS.

  2. oh, this is lovely, I’m over the top in love with that designer paper, looks like you are too, haha..

  3. I love this card Amy. That DSP is so pretty and you used my favorite piece from the stack. I like how you tied the colors of the paper into the little extra pieces you stamped around the gorgeous sentiment.

  4. Beautiful! I love how the stamps flow into the paper – a perfect frame for the sentiment! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
