Waving hello from Phuket Thailand!!  We arrived late last night and we’re trying to get adjusted to the new time zone.  Enjoying the resort and getting to see Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator friends from all over the world!  And I posted a quick video showing off a little bit of the resort and our room on my Facebook page so stop by to check it out.  Planning to take and share lots of pictures too!

I used the Stampin’ Up! Carols of Christmas stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2017 Holiday Catalog to create my card to share with you today.  The bundle will be available for purchase beginning August 1, that is a full month ahead of the Holiday Catalog ordering!

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #295.

I started by adhering panels of Be Merry DSP to a Thick Whisper White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut the trees from Old Olive card stock with the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies (available August 1) and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then added a strip of Gold Glimmer Paper over the seam between the two papers, adhering it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I wrapped a strand of Cherry Cobbler 1/4″ Double-Stitched Ribbon around the card front and tied a small knot.  Then I inked the sentiment from the Carols of Christmas stamp set (available August 1) with Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Garden Green Stampin’ Write Markers and I stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

I cut the sentiment out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits Die and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I stamped the deer image from the Carols of Christmas stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, cut it out with the Card Front Builder Thinlits Die and adhered it to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment and garland images from the Merry Mistletoe stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Old Olive card stock and then to the inside of the card base.
