Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons for the Stamp To Share International Design Team Blog Hop

We are back with another Stamp to Share International Design Team Blog Hop with Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world!  This month we’re featuring the Colorful Seasons stamp set bundle.  Here are my projects:

For my beach themed card, I used the Colorful Seasons photopolymer stamp set bundle, the Wherever You Go stamp set and the Magical Mermaid stamp set.  The chairs are cut from Lemon Lime Twist, Flirty Flamingo and Bermuda Bay card stocks.

For the background, I sponged a panel of Whisper White card stock with Pool Party ink, then stamped the sun image from the Wherever You Go stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink over it.  I cut the “waves” from Pool Party card stock with the scallop die from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies.  I sentiment from the Colorful Seasons stamp set was stamped in Bermuda Bay ink.

I tore a panel of Crumb Cake card stock by hand and then stamped the shell image from the Magical Mermaid stamp set in Crumb Cake ink over it.  I adhered everything to the sponged panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then adhered the panel to a Thick Whisper White card base.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around it and tied one of the 2016-18 In Color Glitter Acrylic Shapes to it to finish the card front.

For my second project, I stamped the leaf from the Colorful Seasons stamp set in Old Olive ink on a panel of Color Theory DSP.  I adhered the panel to a panel of Old Olive card stock with SNAIL, then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around it and tied a knot (hidden under the sentiment panel).  I stamped the sentiment from the Colorful Seasons stamp set in VersaMark ink on a square of White Vellum, sprinkled it with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I layered the vellum panel over a square of Color Theory DSP and a square of Old Olive card stock.  I adhered the sentiment square to the larger panel and then adhered the larger panel to a Crumb Cake card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added two leaves cut from Copper Foil Sheets with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to finish the card front.

  1. Love the sunset with the beach chairs Amy. Those colorful beach chairs are just amazing. I never would have thought to die cut those in color! I just love the beach, so that’s my favorite, although your other card is beautiful as well. Love the bling on it.

  2. Great minds think alike Amy!! I love the beautiful summer feel of your first card, especially with those gorgeous chairs and the colours you chose. Your autumnal card in the beautiful greens is perfectly finished in the copper accents. Love them both.

  3. Love your card. My 2 sisters and I have a beach trip planned for September. I think I will make your card for both of them. We are all 3 really looking forward to just relaxing at ocean and your card is perfect.

  4. What lovely cards! I love them both. I think the second group of SU items used is for the green card instead of the chair? Thanks for sharing!

  5. I love both of your cards! I would love to case the green one if that is ok? I’m thinking the 2nd group of products listed is for the green card as opposed to the chair? Thanks for sharing!

  6. Lovely cards Amy, and I’m with Caro, as a beach lover, I adore the three beautiful coloured chairs and the sun setting behind…..take me away! Both your cards show just how amazingly versatile this bundle is.

  7. Two fabulous cards Amy! Love the bright and fun feel of your summery card. Making me wish it was summer now! The sun behind the chairs looks fabulous too. The Old Olive with the Copper is looks awesome together and is perfect for a thinking of you card. Just gorgeous! Rochelle xo

  8. Please can I go to that beach! Simply lovely colors and looks very inviting. Awesome details with the background. And your fall card is lush with the Old Olive and copper, to play it off. I love the gradient look of the green, because that how fall starts 🍃

  9. What a beautiful, calming beach scene, yet the chair colors are bright and cheerful. Everything great about the beach rolled into one! Thanks for joining us for our photo inspiration challenge at HSS!

  10. WOW, what lovely cards Amy 🙂 ! On the first card, the summer feeling came out and i want to go to beach, now 🙂 ! The second card is beautiful, too! Love the colors green and copper, it works fabulous together. Thanks for your lovely ideas, Nadine
